RHS Bands Holiday Pops Concert on Dec. 14

Holiday Pops Concert at RHS December 14th

ROXBURY, NJ (November 26, 2019) – Join the Roxbury High School Honors Wind Symphony for its Second Annual Holiday Pops Concert featuring a program of only holiday music on Saturday, December 14th at 3 p.m. in the Roxbury High School auditorium located at 1 Bryant Drive in Succasunna, NJ. The snow date will be Sunday, December 15th at p.m.

“As a father of two young children, I wanted to create a concert accessible to our youngest audience members,” shared Jeff Conrad, RHS Director of Bands.

The anticipated length of the concert program will be about 30-40 minutes.

“For our youngest members, this is not a “sit down” concert. Children are allowed and encouraged to get up from their seat and move during the performance! I know my son and daughter loved dancing in front of the stage last year with a group of other children.”

Following the performance, there will be a reception in the cafeteria featuring light refreshments, holiday craft stations for young audience members, as well as the opportunity to visit and take a picture with Santa!

Admission is free to all, but we will be collecting items for donation to Roxbury Social Services. Donations to the Roxbury Band program will be accepted as well.

“All are welcome, from the very young to senior citizens. Please help spread the word throughout the community and come celebrate the season with some great music-making and fun for the whole family!”
