Ten Roxbury High School Students Accepted into Region Honors Choir

ROXBURY, NJ (January 6, 2020) – Ten Roxbury High School students successfully auditioned for the North Jersey School Music Association Region High School Honors Choir. This ensemble is comprised of the top singers across North New Jersey. 

Congratulations to seniors Heather Doherty and Eric Nieves along with juniors Marisa Brinkman, Cristian Marrero, Gabriela Mutone, Joseph Negron, and Sheryl Peng, sophomore Eliana Tumminello, and freshman Alex Brinkman and Andrew Darling on this great accomplishment.  

The students will be performing under the direction of Dr. David Fryling and Patricia Danner at Morris Knolls High School on Saturday, February 1st. 

The mission of the North Jersey School Music Association is the advancement of music instruction in Northern New Jersey’s educational institutions at all levels that provide in-service and enrichment opportunities for practicing and retired teachers and prospective music educators, as well as sponsoring various festivals and performing groups for K-12 students.
