With the assistance of the Roxbury High School's Interact Club, we have raised a total of $77,000 for local families. Mike Corrente, Joey Clayton, and Matthew Adonis have all been recipients of the proceeds raised during the Color Fun Run. These individuals and their families were dealing with the financial stress of cancer treatments and we were so happy to do what we could to ease their financial burden. People come from all over the country to participate in this event. It is a great way to stay in shape, raise money for a community member/family in need, and have a great time on a beautiful summer day! There will be a DJ, sandwiches, ice cream and more! The proceeds of the 2019 Color Fun Run will be raised in honor of both Jeffery Poissant and the Gibson family.

Jeffery Poissant, a Roxbury firefighter, owner of Succasunna Service Center, and father of three, was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. We will honor him to prove that no one fights alone.

Nicole Coleman, a mother of three, was diagnosed with brain cancer. She underwent multiple procedures and courageously fought her battle. Nicole passed away in November 2018 and we are honored to support Nicole's three children: Donte, Cole, and Shaday Gibson through the 2019 Color Fun Run.
