ROXBURY, NJ (October 18, 2019) – Members of the Roxbury High School Roxbotix Robotics Team participated in the Roxbury Adopt-A-Road program as part of the NJ Clean Communities initiative. This high school team spent time on Saturday, October 12th cleaning up Righter Road in Succasunna under the supervision of head team advisor Mark Tayler and assistant team advisor Matthew Brauer. The team does this twice a year and receives small mini-grants to help fund their program.

The Clean Communities program is a comprehensive litter abatement program serving New Jersey residents and visitors. The basic mission is to reduce litter in public places, promote the volunteer cleanup of public lands and to sustain a reduction in litter through education.

Roxbury Clean Communities has a simple and fun way to be a part of the community. Individuals, school groups, churches, and businesses donate time to continue to keep Roxbury beautiful.
