Roxbury Streamlines Music Program

ROXBURY, NJ (January 25, 2019) – Members of the Lincoln/Roosevelt School Band received a special visit from the Eisenhower Middle School band directors, Greg Boccuti and Shannon Perrone on Tuesday, January 22nd. This visit is all part of a program-wide initiative to streamline instruction and Greg Boccuti Directing LRS Band create a sense of community from grades 5-12. Boccuti and Perrone taught some of the fifth and sixth-grade lesson groups and participated in band rehearsals for both grades. 

“Students enjoyed learning from and getting to know them. We look forward to future learning opportunities that bring the 7-12 band staff into our LRS classrooms,” shared Kate Katz, Sixth Grade Band and Choir Teacher.
