STEMRox Tech Club @ L/R (Grades 5-6)

  • STEMRox Logo with that wording and a blue and gold shield with various STEM items STEMRox is an educational 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to increase STEM Education in our local community. All of us at STEMRox have ties to the Roxbury community either having grown up in Roxbury and/or currently living in Roxbury and are passionate about bringing the best experience to our community. We at STEMRox are all previous athletes and our goal for this initiative was to bring that same experience and concept of personalized training and high-end competition into the classroom in a field of study that students are interested in for their future.

TECH Club at Lincoln Roosevelt offers 5th and 6th Grade students opportunities to explore STEAM projects throughout the year. Each unique session provides students of all abilities, from novice to expert engineers, a chance to develop problem-solving skills of the 21st century. Students build, explore, and test their creations through exciting challenges with peers by their side. This is a safe place to learn from mistakes, try a new skill, build memories, and make new friends.
