Roxbury High School Choirs Bring Home Gold
ROXBURY, NJ (May 17, 2023) – Seven choirs from Roxbury High School traveled to Hershey, PA the first weekend in May to compete in the Heritage Festival. The competing choirs were Roxbury Glee Club, Melodies, Vocal Jazz, Revelation, Chorale, Classic Sounds Honors, and the Roxbury Festival Choir under the direction of Mr. Patrick Hachey, Mrs. Krista Sweer, and Mr. R. Daniel Salyerds.
The choirs took home five first-place trophies and two second-place, achieved seven superior ratings, and won the Best Overall Choir Award for Revelation. Senior Emma Milsom also won the award for outstanding vocalist.
