  • Open Lunch Applications

    Open Lunch applications are now be accepted in the main office.  Participation in this privilege will not begin until the first week in October.  The Open Lunch policy and application can be  found under Quicklinks.

    The deadline to purchase insurance for the chromebook is October 31, 2016.  There will be no extensions or late fee options this year.

    The period of coverage, for the 2016-2017 school year, runs through October 31, 2017.

    Chromebook insurance needs to be purchased every year.

    The following revisions to our 16/17 School Calendar were approved at the Board of Ed meeting on September 6, 2016:
    • November 8, 2016 - School Closed, Election Day
    • Thursday, December 22, 2016 - Full Day for Students and Staff
    • Friday, December 23, 2016 - 4½-hour Day for Students and Staff

  • There will be a mandatory meeting for anyone interested in playing ice hockey this season on Thursday, September 29, immediately after school in room R268.  Please see Coach Benbow with any questions.

    Wellness Fun Tips for today:  

    Nutrition:  Don’t shop when you are hungry – statistics show that you are more likely to make bad choices when hungry.


    The ASVAB assessment will be given October 11th at 7:30 AM in the Media Center.  For seniors who need to meet a graduation requirement or are interested in joining the military, come see your counselor for a permission slip today!


    Roxbury High School Ski & Snowboard Club registrations are now being accepted through November 1st. Seats fill fast so don’t wait to sign up! For more information and to register visit


    Spirit week is next week,

    Today is Well-Dressed Wednesday,

    Tomorrow is Hawaiian Day

    Friday is Hallway/color wars the

    Freshman are Red,

    Sophomores are Purple,

    Juniors are Orange

    Seniors are Blue. 


    Each class will receive spirit points during homeroom for each participating student. Winning class will be announced on Friday


    You have until Tuesday the 4th to purchase your camo shirt during lunch or with Mr. Gibson in R260, cost is $18.00.


    Thursday is hallway decorating day so please help your class out! 


    Mini thon will have an ice cream fundraiser on Thursday right after school in the gym lobby.


    There will be a general interest meeting for the mini thon Thursday in room M215 after school


    There will be an FBLA meeting this Thursday at 7AM in P242. Check the FBLA bulletin board at the top of the main staircase in P hall to sign-up for ROX FBLA Classroom and the social media sites.
