2025/2026 Schedule and Extended Care

The Roxbury Community School Before and After School Enrichment Services (RCS BASES) provides quality care for children in grades Kindergarten through Sixth. All K-6 BASES programs offer care for children during out-of-school hours on normally scheduled school days. Morning care is open to all students who attend one of the Roxbury K-6 schools beginning at 7:00 a.m. Aftercare is open to only students who attend one of the Roxbury K-4 schools. There will be no aftercare for Grades 5-6. Aftercare runs until 6:00 p.m.

Early dismissal care for parent/teacher conferences and half days before a holiday break are also included in the regular schedule for those enrolled in the Afternoon BASES on those days.

Tentative Recess Days - The Roxbury Township Board of Education's calendar builds in five (5) emergency days. If any of these days are used, normal extended care will take place at every site. 

Extended Care Dates include*:

• Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences - Monday, October 20 thru Friday, October 24, 2025 - BASES closes at 6:00 pm
• Halloween - Friday, October 31st - BASES closes at 4:00 pm
• Half-Day Before Thanksgiving Break - Wednesday, November 26, 2025 - BASES closes at 4:00 pm
• Half-Day Before Winter Break - Tuesday, December 23, 2025 - BASES closes at 4:00 pm
• Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences - Monday, April 20 thru Friday, April 24, 2026 - BASES closes at 6:00 pm
• End of Year - Wenesday, June 17 thru Thursday, June 18, 2026 - BASES closes at 6:00 pm

* RCS BASES is open on all half days until 6:00 p.m. except the half day before a holiday, then BAES closes at 4:30 p.m.

The last day of RCS BASES is Thursday, June 18, 2026.
