At Kennedy Elementary School we strive to spread kindness in the school and surrounding community through our "Kennedy Kindness" initiative. As a school community, we believe in educating the whole child to ensure each child reaches their full potential. As a school community, we will accomplish this daily through the district's new Social-Emotional Learning initiative and PEAK enrichment period. At Kennedy Elementary School we strive to meet the needs of all learners by providing students opportunities to collaborate, create, think critically, and problem-solve through the implementation of district initiatives.
Kennedy Elementary School is also proud to announce that we are the recipients of a bronze medal, awarded by Sustainable Jersey for Schools. Thank you to the school community for all your hard work, dedication, and promise to sustainability. Let's aim high this year to build upon this hard work!
I am looking forward to a great year, and am excited to serve as the Principal of Kennedy Elementary School. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me.

Schools in Roxbury Township had a reason to celebrate this March, not just for St. Patrick’s Day and all things Irish or for March Madness, but for the amount of money they raised to fight pediatric cancer. Out of three events held between March 10th and 24th, the district raised more than $76,000.
Peterson will facilitate another public session, this time virtually via Google Meet, for those to voice their opinions and suggestions regarding their vision for the future of the district and the criteria for selecting a new superintendent on Wednesday, March 22nd at 7:00 p.m.
The NJSBA will lead a presentation of the Roxbury superintendent search program at a special meeting of the Board of Education to be held on Thursday, March 9 starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Eisenhower Middle School auditorium located at 47 Eyland Avenue in Succasunna. An overview of the search program, schedule, and community survey will be provided followed by a public session where those in attendance can voice their opinions and suggestions regarding their vision for the future of the district and the criteria for selecting a new superintendent.
Alumni, faculty, staff, students, or friends of Roxbury Schools may submit nominations for the eighth annual Distinguished Alumni Award. All interested in submitting a nomination may complete and return the nomination form by no later than April 28, 2023 for the upcoming selection year.
