My 3 Sons | NJ Tutoring
My 3 Sons | NJ Tutoring for the SATs and ACTs
**Sessions will continue VIRTUALLY throughout the school year
- no need for in-class instruction.**
Roxbury Community School is offering a comprehensive and combined SAT and ACT tutoring program that, unlike all others, addresses BOTH, the SAT and the ACT entrance exams, at a cost lower than most single preparation courses. My 3 Sons|NJ Tutoring has helped MANY students in Roxbury and in other towns to optimize their scores on both tests, gain entry into top-level universities and, in many cases, earn scholarship funding.
This My 3 Sons|NJ Tutoring course will help seniors prepare for as many as six admissions tests before college applications are due. It can help juniors get a major leg up on the college application process, and help sophomores start preparation for junior year PSATs, SATs, and ACTs.
Each student will need to bring a simple notebook and a practice book for each test. The practice books will be described at the first class.
This program is open to ALL Roxbury AND non-Roxbury residents.
Late Registrations Welcome!
Mr. Gerry Bossard began his highly successful tutoring right here in Roxbury Township, where he lives with his wife and when they come to visit, his three, Roxbury-alumni sons. Mr. Bossard has had much experience and success in raising standardized test scores. As a tutor and instructor, he has helped students raise their SAT scores as much as 600 points above the PSAT for the 2015 twenty-four hundred point test, with an average of 300 points raised, and 400 points for students taking the current sixteen-hundred-point SAT, with an average of over 200 points raised. On the ACT, students have increased their scores in the same way - as much as 8 points - from a 19 to a 27, as one example, averaging a 5 to 6 point gain per student.
Mr. Bossard has a Bachelors of Arts from Middlebury College in Vermont and a Masters in Administration and Supervision from NJCU.

An RHS parent shared the following, "Hi Gerry! ... Just wanted to thank you for your work with our daughter...I could tell you motivated her to work hard these last few weeks...she spent a lot of time working in the workbook...She feels more confident and prepared for the tests."
"I have known Gerry Bossard for 12 years; our kids played soccer together when they were little and graduated Roxbury High School together. When Gerry told me he was tutoring for the SAT and ACT, I immediately took him up on it for our oldest child because I knew if Gerry said he would help our son achieve the best scores he was capable of, then he would. And he did. Our son's scores rose well above his PSAT and above the first SAT he took before tutoring. We then had Gerry tutor our second child, and he also achieved the same result - his very best scores of which he was capable, on both the SAT and the ACT. Gerry is presently tutoring our third child, and we know that she will achieve far beyond her PSATs and achieve her optimal scores for BOTH tests. And I think I should also mention - I am a teacher here in the Roxbury School District."
