Mr. Paul Gallagher

Work Experience: Prior to joining Roxbury's leadership team in 2018, I served as Fredon Township School's Vice-Principal and Director of Special Education. My time as an administrator was preceded by ten years of service as an elementary classroom teacher in the Manville Public School District.

Philosophy: I believe in supporting the academic, social and emotional growth of our students by surrounding them with a high-quality faculty & staff and providing equitable access to dynamic programs, courses and curricula. With that goal in mind, Eisenhower's teachers are trained in the Responsive Classroom approach to middle school. This approach is tailored to the specific needs of adolescents and emphasizes a balance between engaging academics, positive community, effective management, and developmental awareness. Our goal is for every student to have a safe, meaningful, and enriching experience during their time here at EMS.

Who I Am: My wife and I live in Branchburg with our two children, Brian and Evelyn. We spend our evenings and weekends at youth sporting events and activities, church, or visiting with friends, family and loved ones. When I can find a few moments of free time all to myself, I can usually be found golfing, playing tennis, watching my favorite sports teams, or playing the piano.
