•      Welcome to First Grade!  My name is Christina Green.  This is my 22nd year at Jefferson School.  I have taught Kindergarten, Second Grade, and was the Reading Specialist at Jefferson School for a number of years.  First Grade has always held a special place in my heart.  This is the grade where students embrace reading, and begin to become independent learners. It is so exciting to watch.  I am so happy to be your child's teacher, and I am thrilled to embark on this incredible journey with you!  Here are a few helpful hints on how to find information about our class:
Teacher's Page:  This page will keep you updated on what is happening in the classroom each month.
Calendar: This page will keep you up-to-date each month on the events that will be occurring in our classroom and in our school.
School Supplies:  The students start out with a wealth of supplies in September, but by January it begins to dwindle, especially glue sticks!  This page will remind you about some of the things the students may need to replenish their supplies.
Web Resources:  This page provides links to Raz-Kids, Scholastic Books, Think Central , and other sites we use in the classroom.
I hope you will find this information helpful.  See you soon!
