Today is a B Day
There will be a brief meeting for anyone interested in playing softball tomorrow in C121 right after school. If you are interested in playing but can't attend the meeting, please reach out to Mr. Critelli via email.
Rox-THON will have its first Committee Meeting on Thursday (09/28) after school in the media center 2:20 - 3:30pm
There will be a brief interest meeting for all students interested in participating in a Winter sport on Thursday 9/28 at 2:15 pm in the cafeteria. If you are interested in participating in wrestling, indoor track & field, basketball, swimming, robotics, ice hockey, bowling or competition cheer please plan to attend. This will be a brief meeting to review practice schedules, team expectations and the physical paperwork process.
Calling all artists, the students council is hosting an art competition to design our Gael Cup shirts for the year! If you have a design for the front of the shirt, send it to Mr. Hansen by Monday, October 2nd. Try to stick to one color in your linework and incorporate 2024 somewhere in your art.
Attention, athletes interested in Swim Team and Winter Track. There will be a brief interest meeting for both sports after school on Tuesday, October 3rd. The Swim team will be meeting in room O234. The track team will be meeting in P242. Please email a coach if you are interested but unable to attend the meeting.
Spirit week is next week! October 2nd through the 6th with our Homecoming dance on Saturday, October 7th from 6:30 to 9:30. Tickets will be on sale in the cafeteria during lunches starting Monday. You must pre-purchase your ticket before the dance in order to attend.
Spirit week themes will be:
Monday: Dress in all grey
Tuesday: Jersey Day, Wear your favorite jersey or team apparel
Wednesday: Barbenheimer, Compete in either the Barbie or Oppenheimer theme competition. Pink or Black
Thursday: Cowboy Rodeo – Grab your cowboy boots, western hats and flannel shirts.
Friday: Theme Gael Cup; Colors:
Seniors will be Blue
Juniors will be Gold
Sophomores will be Blue
Freshman will be Gold -

Roxbury Melodies selected to perform at ACDA Eastern Division Conference
Roxbury Melodies was selected to perform at the 2024 American Choral Directors Association Eastern Region Conference. They were one of only fifteen choirs chosen based on three years of recordings that passed two rounds of blind auditions.

Jets Center Connor McGovern to Visit Roxbury and Wayne Township High Schools
New York Jets Center Connor McGovern is introducing able™ in Schools curriculum to Roxbury High School in New Jersey. Next Monday, September 11th, staff from Roxbury High School and Wayne Township High School along with 10 additional surrounding districts will be trained for free on this curriculum, followed by NY Jets Day at Roxbury High School.

Roxbury Honors Top Students in Graduating Class of 2023
Roxbury High School honored the top ten students in the class of 2023 on June 8th. These students graduated with the highest academic averages this year. In addition to the students, the district recognized the teachers those students felt contributed most to their educational success. Parents of the honorees were invited to accompany their children to a dinner and reception in the dining hall at Roxbury High School.

Record-Breaking Twenty-Four Roxbury Students Make All-State Honors Choir
Twenty-four Roxbury High School Choir students were selected to the New Jersey All-State Honors Choir, the most in the history of the school. This prestigious ensemble is made up of the top singers from across the state of New Jersey. Roxbury also had nine students place in the top ten of their voice part.

Roxbury High School Choirs Bring Home Gold
Seven choirs from Roxbury High School traveled to Hershey, PA the first weekend in May to compete in the Heritage Festival. The choirs took home five first-place trophies and two second-place, achieved seven superior ratings, and won the Best Overall Choir Award for Revelation.
