      The staff at Nixon School works to cultivate an environment for teaching and learning that is positive, productive, and student-centered.   Teamwork is at the heart of this work.  

      Professional Learning Communities provide a forum for staff to work collaboratively to build opportunities that promote student achievement. Faculty meetings are primarily utilized to provide professional development opportunities led by various members of our staff. Additionally, varied professional development opportunities are offered at the district level, inclusive of the district's virtual, PD platform - Digital Badging.
