Principal's Message

  • Welcome to the Franklin School website! Here you will find important information regarding events and programs occurring at Franklin School.

At Franklin School, the students, staff, and parents work together as a school community to enable each child to reach his or her full potential. We work to create a warm, safe environment that fosters the whole child's development, socially, emotionally, and cognitively. Furthermore, the staff of dedicated teachers utilizes best practices to differentiate instruction for students, including a Balanced Literacy model for reading and writing instruction and a real-world problem-solving approach to mathematics. This year we also began a new science initiative in grades three and four that incorporates the Next Generation Science Standards.

Additionally, the Franklin School Parent Teacher Association plans and implements various activities throughout the school year and raises funds with which they provide generous donations to Franklin School. They also strive to provide effective communication for all members of the school community. We are fortunate to have such an involved PTA!

I am proud to serve as the principal of Franklin School and look forward to a successful and rewarding end to the school year!
