Principal's Message
-
It is with the utmost pride and enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the new Principal of Franklin Elementary School. I have been fortunate enough to work in education for 14 years and have served as the Assistant Principal of Lincoln Roosevelt School since January 2019. As a current administrator in the Roxbury School District, I know the level of dedication that the teachers and staff provide to assist all students in achieving greatness. I am excited to bring my experience and passion for learning to the Franklin Elementary School community. I look forward to working with the school to help ensure each child’s success during these important formative years.
As an educator, I firmly believe that a collaboration between school, home, and community is a key component to the success of all students. By working together, students will receive the support they need to not only to succeed academically but also socially and emotionally. Especially at this level, my goal as an administrator is to provide all of the students at Franklin Elementary School with a setting that is nurturing of all learning needs. When students know that they are valued in a school setting, they have the best chance to succeed.
As the school year progresses, my goal is to sustain the high standards of education that Ms. Ferrare and the Franklin staff have worked diligently to promote each day. I cannot wait to begin getting to know the students and helping them in their educational journey. If there are ever any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out so that we can discuss ways to help your child.
Sincerely,
Mr. Brian Hamer
