Dear Lincoln Roosevelt Parents,
It was so nice to meet many of you 2 weeks ago at Back To School Night. The PTO is looking forward to a great year ahead with many different fundraisers in the works. We are still in need of parent volunteers and chairs for the Holiday Boutique and Yearbook. We also need some additional volunteers for the Book Fair.
Again, we are doing things a bit differently than in years past, and are relying heavily on the parent “donations”. A letter with a suggested amount of $20.00 PER STUDENT went out the first week of school. This money will go toward agenda books, assemblies, cultural art programs, ALL class parties, ALL teachers holiday AND end of year gifts, AND MORE. We, the PTO, will NOT be asking for additional money throughout the year. Thank you for those that have donated already and we ask those that haven’t to PLEASE consider making your donation as soon as possible for EACH of your children at the school.
Class parents have been contacted by Kerri Holick, she is the Room Rep Coordinator.

Our first parent PTO meeting was Wednesday October 5th, at 7:30pm at L/R auditorium. Thank you to those who were able to attend. Please check Lincoln Roosevelt school website, go to PTO and click “newsletter” for meeting minutes. The next meeting is Nov 11/17/16 at 7;30. We look forward to seeing you there.
