Nineteen Roxbury Students Make All-State Honors Choir
ROXBURY, NJ (May 6, 2025) - Nineteen Roxbury High School Choir students were selected to the New Jersey All State Honors Choir with senior Jasper Fernandes earning first in the state. This prestigious ensemble is made up of the top singers across the state of New Jersey.
The following students were selected for the New Jersey All State Mixed Choir: Maxwell Barton, Brady Batsch, Logan Batsch, Joseph Borda, Sean Cully, Jasper Fernandes, Jericko Guerrero, AJ Montrose, Riley O’Keefe, Elizabeth Ricucci, Diego Rodriguez, Alexa Rossi, Liam Schlam, and Caiden Scire.
The following students were selected for the New Jersey All State Treble Choir: Kaleigh Bodtmann, Jennifer Buczynski, Nora Doyle, Ann Eapen, and Colleen Feeney.
“This is a huge accomplishment for these students who worked hard to prepare and record auditions in order to earn this honor,” shared Krista Sweer, RHS Associate Choir Director.
The purpose of NJ All-State Chorus is to offer a unique educational experience to the best-qualified vocal students in New Jersey. Accepted students will perform choral literature of the highest quality, under the direction of an outstanding conductor. The NJ All State Mixed Choir will perform at the NJ Performing Arts Center in November and the All State Treble Choir will have their concert in February.
