During the 2023/2024 school year, Roxbury Schools will be collecting Legos to be used in our BASES program, Classrooms, Clubs, and Makerspaces!

Do you have any LEGOS pieces at home you no longer use? Please consider donating them to the Roxbury Public Schools! Any donations are greatly appreciated!

Each Roxbury Township Public School is registered with Sustainable Jersey for Schools, a certification program for New Jersey public schools that want to go green, conserve resources and take steps to create a brighter future, one school at a time. Launched in fall 2014, they are a non-profit organization that provides tools, training, and financial incentives to support and reward schools as they pursue sustainability programs. Click here to read more about Sustainable Jersey for Schools. 

As of August 2018, all seven Roxbury schools received Bronze-level certification. In August 2023, Roxbury High School reached the next tier, achieving Silver certification. To that end, each of our schools and the district as a whole continue to work towards a more sustainable future.

By collecting Legos, each of our schools will be earning ten points towards the "Materials Reuse" action. We will weigh and record each school's donations on a monthly basis and report back their totals. Be on the lookout for more information from your building principals.
